poker superstars: Poker Wizard Freddy Deeb Advances at PSIT 3 Sunday

Only Three Spots in Quarterfinal Round Are Left to Fill
Going into Sunday, four players have made it to Poker Superstars Invitational 3’s quarterfinal round, which leaves two more rounds of four left to go to determine who’s still in the running.

The fifth spot was filled on FSN last night when that round little guy Freddy Deeb outlasted Erick Lindgren, Barry Greenstein, and Gus Hansen to move on.

Next week, the match between the remaining three players will be shown, but last night, Deeb was the star of the show. He joins Mike Matusow, Card Player Magazine CEO Jeff Shulman, Antonio Esfandiari, and Johnny Chan in the quarterfinal round of the PSIT 3.

Players who have already fallen by the wayside include Eli Elezra, Phil Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson, Mike Sexton, and World Series of Poker champs Joe Hachem, Greg Raymer, and Chris Moneymaker.

PSIT 3 is shown on FSN every Sunday at 8 p.m. local time. Click here to view CardPlayer.com’s complete Internet coverage package of the show.
